I'm Being Published!
It’s happening! My poetry will be printed in the upcoming issue of The Rebis creative lit magazine!
Last week I received some exciting news: For the first time, my writing is being published! Two of my poems were accepted to the creative lit mag, The Rebis!
The Rebis feels free, intuitive, and honest. It’s spiritual and magic and tarot themed. I thumbed through the pages of previous issues and thought what an honor it would be to see my work there. And now it’s happening! My poems will be printed in the upcoming issue titled, “The Moon.”

The Moon brings us beyond the systems and forms that the world demands we fit into. Nothing permanent, nothing set in stone. Cycles and spirals. Light and dark and light again. Not everything is clear, linear, or laid out in straight lines. The Moon blurs the edges, like a shoreline shifting as the moon pulls the tide.
The Moon represents the intuitive and unseen. The complex mind, a swirling subconscious. Duality of risk and safety, wild and tame. The Moon asks us to go into the underworld, to see things in different light, and to emerge different beings because of it. Calling us to move and bleed and shed what we no longer need, trusting her guidance and following the glow of her lunar face.

My hope is that people read my work and feel inspired to channel the strength of the moon as a celestial entity and powerhouse, not just a soft light in the night. I hope they will feel compelled to dive into the depths and truly see things as they are, changing belief again and again, a constant evolution of self, of love, of collective.
I want my work to guide people into intuitive spaces, where nothing is linear and where dreams bleed into waking reality and offer deeper meaning. My poems invite the reader to consider how things are not as they seem, that maybe there is a deeper meaning behind the shroud.
By choosing to craft my work into blackout poems, this symbolism becomes even clearer, with hidden messages revealed once all the fluff is removed and the poem sits before the reader, bare skinned.
I know that it’s not recognition or validation or publication that makes me a writer (I’m a writer because I write), but it really does feel good and exciting to have someone else feel excited about my work too! I am thrilled and giddy to see it all come together!
I can’t wait to share more after it’s printed!

Congratulations! So excited for you.
Congrats!
